Una muy interesante colección de ensayos de Susan Napier, Brian Ruh, Steven Brown entre otros, analizando: Serial Experiments Lain, la obra de Kôn Satoshi, el fenómeno de “americanización” del manga y el animé, Ciencia Ficción en animé, The Animatrix, FLCL... y más... El título del libro es un poco engañoso. Se suele diferenciar entre Cine y Animación (en desmedro de la segunda) este libro viene en cambio a afirmar que el Animé no es otra cosa que...cine. Es un libro interesante, pero bastante complicado: con todas esas tesis y frases de Giles Deleuze que a los universitarios les encanta postular, recordar y citar. Como aspecto muy positivo se tratan algunas piezas de culto realmente extraordinarias. Un anuncio de ello lo tenemos ya en la bella portada que es de Serial Experiments Lain. (by pelida77)
